Description
1930s Original reclaimed/ antique front door with lots of character. Door is not rotted, bowed or warped at all and are completely straight. Excellent condition both sides. Carefully removed by professional installers.
Condition
Excellent/ very clean condition both sides.
Defects:
There are scratches/chips to the paintwork, these are only cosmetic – see last photo/s.
Colour
Painted internally and externally in Blue. Could easily be stripped down if you wanted the original wood-grain showing.
Comes with Gold hinges.
Operating / Style
Previously fitted to open inwards to the left when being opened from the outside. Could be opened another way, best to talk to a carpenter about this.
Security
Comes complete with one lock, however this would need to be changing as there is no key.
Missing Parts
There is no frame for this item, so you would need to get one made up by a carpenter or use your existing frame if possible.
Letterbox missing, however these can be purchased online or from your local merchant at a low expense.
Glazing
Glazing is original, single glazed and Distorted. All panels are matching and none have been replaced.
Ideal for anyone looking for an original door; as they just don’t make them like they used to!
