Wooden ‘Oak Veneer’ bi-folding doors, bespoke made by ‘JELD-WEN’ to a very high standard.
Would cost around £5,000 if you were to order new direct.
Carefully removed by professional installers.
Comes fully complete with nothing missing ready to be re-installed.
Condition
Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
Excellent/ very clean condition both sides.
There is some damage to the item which may need to be repaired.
Not bowed or rotted at all.
Colour
The colour externally and internally is Light Golden Oak, with a matching frame either side.
Has Brushed Stainless Steel ‘Centor’ hinges with Brushed Stainless Steel handles.
Operating / Style
Externally opening & stacking doors.
When viewing from the outside, the main traffic door opens separately in the middle left; when fully open 3 doors stack to the left and 3 doors stack to the right.
Doors are top hung.
The combination incorporates a set of French doors, so you don’t have to have them all open at the same time.
Security
Has a 3 point ‘ERA’ locking system along with internal bolt locks making it very secure.
Comes with 2 ‘Union’ keys.
Missing Parts / Defects
Defects:
There is water damage to the bottom of some of the doors, especially the main traffic door so the veneer is peeling off however there is no rot on any of the doors. This would need to be sanded down and then the exterior may have to be painted.
Please see last photo/s relating to the defects.
Glazing
Glazing is 20mm thick Double Glazed, Clear, toughened with Metal silver spacer bar, Low E, filled with Argon Gas for extra efficiency. There is no condensation occurring inside the pane/s.
The panes are slightly tinted (Helps to regulate a buildings temperature, increases privacy and offers sun protection).
Ideal if you’re after some high quality door at a fraction of the original price, as to order these new direct would cost considerably more.
