These doors are not bowed, warped or rotted at all and are totally straight. Solid hardwood throughout (not veneer) and were handmade by a professional joiner to a very high standard, costing over £2,500 originally. They are very unusual doors and offer excellent security due to the thick hardwood bars each side of the glass. Not sure what type of hardwood these are (looks like mahogany- see pictures of wood-grain), but they are very heavy.
They are in excellent condition both sides, with no damage, dents or defects anywhere to the wood. They have been painted, but could easily be stripped down to the original wood-grain. Please note the frame had to be cut out, so you would need to get a carpenter to make another up- we have part of the frame that you could use as a template. Please also be aware one of the glass panes has condensation inside, im also not sure if the other 3 have as well, as there is some ever so slight mist in parts of all the other doors. If you purchased these and wanted us to order new glass, we can do and it would cost around £200 total inc vat.
Has a 3 point locking system making it very secure and comes complete with 1 key. There are bolt locks on the inside for extra security.
Glazing is thick clear 22mm toughened double glazed.
Main traffic door is in the middle, left when opening from the outside. You can open the middle doors so you have a set of french doors. When fully open open two doors stack to the left and 2 stack to the right- have tried to show this in the photos.
Ideal if your looking for a quality set of doors at a fraction of the original price, as to get these bespoke made would cost considerably more.
