EMPRESS HANDMADE-BESPOKE-WOODEN DOUBLE FRENCH DOORS-ENGINEERED OAK VENEER-GLAZED

Wooden ‘Oak Veneer’ Double Front door, made by ‘Empress’.
Bespoke made by a professional joinery company to a very high standard.
Would cost £1,209 if you were to order new direct.
Carefully removed by professional installers.

Condition

Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
Excellent/ very clean condition both sides.
There is some damage to the item which would need to be repaired.
Not bowed or rotted at all.

Colour

The colour externally and internally is Light Oak Golden Brown.
Has Brushed Stainless Steel hinges with Chrome handles.

Operating / Style

Internally opening doors.
When viewing from the outside, the main traffic door is located on the left.
Hinges/ locks could be altered (holes may need to be filled) if you wanted the door opening/ operating another way.

Security

Has two locks with the top lock being a ‘Yale’ Chubb lock.
Has a top and bottom bolt lock for extra security.
Comes with a key for the bottom lock but not for the Chubb lock so it might need to be replaced.

Missing Parts / Defects

Defects:
The bottom of both doors on their exterior sides have areas where veneer has peeled or is peeling off. There is also a vertical crack on the bottom left side of the non-traffic door when viewed from the exterior – we have put in a few nails to hold it in place however it may need a few more / glued.

Both of these do not affect the function of the doors in any way.

Missing parts:
There is no frame for this item, so you would need to get one made up by a carpenter or use your existing frame if possible.

Glazing

Glazing is 18mm thick Triple Glazed, Bevelled, toughened with Metal black spacer bar, Low E, filled with Argon Gas for extra efficiency. There is no condensation occurring inside the pane/s.

Decorative leaded glass, with a lovely 3D diamond design inside.

Ideal if you’re after some high quality door at a fraction of the original price, as to order these new direct would cost considerably more.
