CRITTALL STEEL 1930s 1950s FRENCH DOORS-RARE-WIDE-SIDELIGHT-VINTAGE-AGED-USED

Traditional Steel Crittall French doors.
Carefully removed by professional installers.
Comes fully complete with nothing missing ready to be re-installed.

Condition

Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
Paint flaking away all over and signs of wear and age as shown.
There is a wooden frame around the door frame. This has not been included in the measurements as the sill is damaged but if the frame is used, there will be an additional 3cm all the way around.

Missing Parts / Defects

Defects:
Exterior lock painted closed.

All 9 panes of glass have condensation inside and one has a stone chip to it.

Door pins have had bottom section cut off to enable doors to be removed for transportation. (Cannot be lifted off when locked)

Please see last photo/s relating to the defects.

Nine of the panes have blown and have slight condensation inside – contact us if you require replacement glass.

Colour

The colour externally and internally is Matt White, with a matching frame either side.

Has White hinges with Silver handles.

Sidelight / Window

The sidelight can be cut off, leaving just the door frame width of 124.3cm.

Operating / Style

Externally opening doors.
When viewing from the outside, the main traffic door is located on the Left.

Security

Multipoint ‘Union’ locking system making it very secure.
Has bolt locks on the inside for extra security.
Comes with 1 ‘Union’ key.

Glazing

Glazing is 12mm thick Double Glazed however all 9 panes have condensation inside and some are damaged.
Replacement glass can be ordered for around £300 from us but will need to be installed by a fitter.

Ideal if you’re after some rare, original doors as these cannot be made new anymore like this.
