Condition

Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
Odd faint/ light mark in places, but nothing exactly noticeable.
Not bowed or rotted at all.

Colour

The colour externally and internally is Gloss Black, but could easily be stripped down if you wanted the original wood grain showing

Has Solid brass hinges.

Operating / Style

Previously installed to open Inwards to the left when being opened from the outside.
Hinges/ locks could be altered (holes may need to be filled) if you wanted the door opening/ operating another way.

Security

Has two locks, one being an ‘ERA’ Chubb lock.
Both locks would need to be changed as neither has a key.

Missing Parts / Defects

Defects:
Paint is peeling on the exterior in a few places which will need sanding down and repainting. – see last photo/s.

There is no frame for this item, so you would need to get one made up by a carpenter or use your existing frame if possible.

Glazing

The porthole glazing is original, single glazed and Distorted.
There is a leaded diamond design externally on the glass on both sides.

Ideal if you’re after some high quality door at a fraction of the original price, as to order these new direct would cost considerably more.
