Description
1930s Original reclaimed/ antique Wooden ‘Timber’ front door.
Carefully removed by professional installers.
Condition
Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
Excellent/very clean condition both sides.
Not bowed or rotted at all.
Colour
The colour externally is Black and internally White, but could easily be stripped down if you wanted the original wood grain showing
Has Gold handles.
Operating / Style
Previously installed to open Inwards to the right when being opened from the outside.
Hinges/ locks could be altered (holes may need to be filled) if you wanted the door opening/ operating another way.
Security
Lock’s would need to be changed as there are no key’s.
Missing Parts / Defects
Defects:
There are ships to the wood and paint. This can be filled and repainted.
Please see last photo/s relating to the defects.
Missing parts:
There is no frame for this item, so you would need to get one made up by a carpenter or use your existing frame if possible.
Internal letterbox is missing, however this can be purchased online or from your local merchant at a low expense.
Glazing
Glazing is original, single glazed and Distorted.
Ideal if you’re after an antique door at a fraction of the original price, as they do not make them like they used to.
